I Can See A Sucker Coming From A Mile Away

Okay, I’m a major-league sucker. The Collie Folks knew if I went to pick this one up, I’d fall in love with her. They’ve offered me quite the opportunity. Two-week trial foster-to-adopt. She’s just a little love. The little girl arrived with the name Rita. She now has two different names…Rita Petita (due to her diminutive size, Collie-wise) or Rita Mae Brown. I think that goes with Daisy Mae quite well. She’s only six months old, so I figure we have some chewing and terrorizing to get out of her system, but she’s already fit in quite nicely with all of the other creatures in the house. Like she’d always been here. She does, however, love to eat paper. She ate the first foster contract, so I had to print another. I should have sent Cathy the first one, she’d appreciate the irony.

Which brings me back where I was yesterday regarding the organizations I help out with from time to time. They always need donations! So, please, if you can help, do. The donation links are listed:

My best pal was going to come over tonight, but, frankly, I just don’t have it in me to entertain. I want to do a little “me” time and focus a little sumtin’ sumtin’ project I have been mulling in my mind for a while. Ready to execute. I’m feeling very creative of late…that’s like the next best thing to great sex. And, since I’m not getting one right now, I might as well get the other.

I saw a great bumper sticker today at my favorite femcentric gift shop:

I Love My Country….
…but I think we need to start seeing other people
