At some point, several months ago the great Karmic confluence had a little party somewhere in the sky over my house—near the full moon, as I recall. Since that time, strange and inexplicable things have been happening. Sure, that glow I seem to have might be just the result of good exfoliating and my new skin care regime, but I think it might be something else.
First, a parking spot, near the stairwell I use opened up on the second floor of my parking garage several days per week. Anyone who knows me knows I'm all about the exit strategy—I study all the lots I use in my life for the optimum way out. This was pretty incredible. I did a little jig the first time it happened. Now, I just do a little soft-shoe.
Then, the buildout of my office space, stalled for months for seemingly no reason started rolling again by my making one little phone call. I had no idea I had the power to do that.
About this time, I noticed that things I needed started appearing in stores—on sale! That odd little print I’d had my eye on for months was suddenly reduced for clearance.
My grass seed experiment in a barren back yard took wing and grew inches overnight.
People around me were smiling and happy. They seemed glad to see me and glad I was there. Relationships of all types began to flourish. New business relationships were forged successfully. Some people, who may have been smoking something funny over lunch, even sought out my advice.
Restaurants with endless lines of people waiting seated me immediately (must be my resemblance to J-Lo) and I never had far to walk to the car with my rock star parking energy. Beaches and parks were near –empty when I visited, even on holiday weekends.
What caused this Karmic mushroom cloud and fallout? Why was I the one to benefit? Was it some mystery? Or was it this incredibly powerful shift in perception, attitude, and outlook I woke up with one day not so long ago? Or was it both?
We can’t control all the events in our lives, but we all have the potential to turn those events into something positive where everyday is Good Karma Day and nothing is impossible.

Life... It tends to respond to our outlook, to shape itself to meet our expectations.
